John 3:17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
But that the world through him might be saved!
God Almighty, the Creator of everything, didn’t send Jesus to point fingers and scold us. He sent Jesus because He loves us so much! Imagine a child falling into a deep, dark well. If a Father does not do anything when he sees his child falling into a ditch or if the Child is running into the Highway is that a good father? A good father will yell at the top of his voice to stop the Child. That is what Jesus was sent to do. Jesus is our lifeline, desperate to pull us to safety. Jesus is the lifeline God threw down to us.
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
We were lost, but Jesus came to find us, to rescue us from the pit of sin and death. This isn’t about judgment; it is about a rescue mission fueled by pure, unconditional love.
This amazing rescue is all about repentance and turning back to God. Jesus didn’t come to just patch things up; He came to offer us a brand-new start, a chance to be reconciled with our Heavenly Father.
2 Corinthians 5:20
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
It is like coming home after being lost in the wilderness. God is waiting with open arms, ready to forgive and restore us. When we truly repent, turning away from our old ways and embracing Jesus, we step into a whole new dimension of living. We become involved with God, and suddenly, those impossible situations don’t seem so impossible anymore. We see God working in our lives, turning our mess into masterpiece. All Jesus came to do is to give us salvation and be reconciled back to the Father. All we have to do is grab hold of that lifeline and let Him pull us into His loving embrace.
2 Corinthians 5:11
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
God bless you
