1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses
We are called to be spiritual warriors in God’s kingdom. We are soldiers in the Army of God And the fight of faith is not a physical fight. The fight of faith we are fighting right now is the sustenance of what we have believed in, we are fighting that we are not ruled by what is going on in the world.
Faith is a word we hear thrown around all the time. People say “Keep the faith” “Walk in faith” “Have faith” “Stand in the faith” “Confess faith” “Speak faith” etc.
Dear friend, I want to ask you today how is your faith, are you fighting the good fight of faith? The Bible says “And Abraham believed in the Lord, and the Lord counted him righteous BECAUSE OF HIS FAITH.” -Genesis 15:6. We are soldiers in the Lord’s army and as a prerequisite, all soldiers have to go through a mandatory course of training before they receive their primary assignment.
The teachings you have been hearing and the sermons you have been listening to are part of the training and now it is time to use the training. Now is the time to fight to defend your faith, what do I mean?
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”
Child of God am sure you know that It is only soldiers that put on armour. And it is someone who is battle-ready that puts on an armour.
Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked
Above all! Child of God, what do you do above all? “TAKING THE SHIELD OF FAITH” Why must you take the shield of faith? So that you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Where are the fiery darts shot at? The fiery darts are shot at your faith!
Why not ordinary darts? Have you thought about that? Why not just darts? The darts must not be just darts, it must be a strong dart that is potent, enough to destroy your faith. Because why? If a man’s faith is defeated, the man is as good as dead. That is why you must fight the good fight, for your faith!
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour
Every word of God you hear is a prophecy, the more you speak it the more it manifests in your life, so what do you do? Confess it to reality, how?
1 Timothy 1:18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare
This is what you should be doing every day, make warfare with the word of God because your adversary is not asleep. Isaiah 59:19b…When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him”
Friends, as you can see everywhere now, your faith and my faith is under attack, and it is only the confession of your faith that can deliver you. You must do what you must do to “keep the faith” Confess faith-filled words, take up the whole armour, and be battle-ready.
Stay connected to the word of faith, pray by the spirit of faith, and let your faith arise. Now is the time to stand and speak faith! That is how to fight the good fight of faith!

Friends, beyond fighting the good fight of faith, Apostle Paul encourages us we don’t let go of eternity. I ask you today if Jesus will come today where will you spend eternity? Hear me, friends, hell is real, heaven is real, it is so real that satan is working overtime to populate hell.
Ephesians 4:27-28 Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
Child of God, our ultimate goal is to make heaven, hold on to the confessions of your faith and do right, amend your ways, because we are in the last days
1 Corinthians 9:27 “Instead, I discipline my body and bring it under strict control, so that after preaching to others, I myself will not be disqualified”
I pray for you, you shall not miss heaven in the name of Jesus
1 Peter 5:10 “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you
