Ecclesiastes 2:14 The wise man's eyes are in his head; but the fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all
When you read the book of Ecclesiastes, there are comparisons that are easy to relate with, one of those comparisons is the wise and the fool, and most importantly these life showcases where we belong by our choice of living or do I say our choice of lifestyle
In a few days from now we shall bid farewell to this year, I hope you have started preparing for 2024, so my question to you would be would you want to make the same mistakes you made this year in next year? Dear friend, I ask you, which category would you want to be classified in? And you know you can’t sit on the fence, it’s either you are “here” or you are “there”
So Today, by the help of the Holy Spirit I want to give sound counsel to you, please choose right. The wise man’s eyes are in his head, so who is the wise man? The wise man is the one that has godly wisdom, knowing that we have two kinds of wisdom, godly wisdom and worldly wisdom
James 3:13-17 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy
Now let us take this one at a time;
1. Your conversation will show if you have wisdom
2. Do not make unnecessary enemies
The wise man’s eye is in his head, stop making other people’s enemy your enemy. This is a very dangerous spirit, If a person is your enemy, the person is your enemy not my enemy, do not come to me with hateful speech so that I should also dislike the person, just because you are my friend i should inherit your enemy, no don’t do that, that is witchcraft, and the spirit of manipulation
James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work
Stop fighting battles not ordained by God. Some prayer points are targeted at persons that are not aware that you have taken them as enemies because “your friend” is their enemy; you are venting some other person’s anger on a likely “helper” in the future. If God should answer that prayer what do you think happens to the help placed in that person for you?
Matthew 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
Stop inheriting enemies!
Philippians 1:27 (NLT) Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing side by side, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News
2024, mind whom you follow, wisdom is knowing where you are going, do not allow yourself to be derailed from the path which you have set for yourself.
There are some people that must not be your friend, any person that talks about other people to you will talk about you to others, your friendship must be people going the same direction as you are, so that when you fall, they can be there to help you up, not those that will trample and walk over you. Chose your friends wisely.
In 2024, be a lover of God’s word, every prophecy you need is in the word of God, as much as we prophecy by the inspiration of the word of God, the word of God is the base foundation for every prophecy
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord
When your spirit is connected to God’s word, nothing will move you, even if it seems nothing is happening about the prophecy spoken over you, you will have no doubt in you that God’s word will not fail
One thing that should be on your prayer list for 2024 is godly wisdom, ask God for wisdom, wisdom on how to talk, wisdom on how to conduct yourself before people
Hebrews 13:2 (NLT) Don't forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!
There is the story of a young graduate who became a taxi driver out of necessity, he was very courteous to a passenger, and the passenger took his number, long story short, he was given a better-paying job that transformed his life, that is wisdom on how to behave
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Child of God, wisdom begins when you have reverential fear for God
Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever
